<aside> 💡 Vision – the state of the world you hope to see when your work is done (SpaceX — occupy Mars, or it could be raising amazing kids or anything you want it to be).

Think about the world that you would love to live in. It has to be fun and interesting for you. Your vision is basically the projection of the future.
The vision is a desired state of the world that you'd love to live in. It is connected to your meaning and purpose. According to Victor Frankl, each person can live a happy life once he or she finds meaning. Your vision will guide you, will help you attract the right people and resources, and will be something to hold on to when you will be going through rough waters. People will also associate you with your vision because it partially represents who you are and what you stand for.
Here are some examples of corporate visions, but I firmly believe that people should have a vision of their lives too.
Amazon: "to be Earth's most customer-centric company, where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online."
Apple: "to make the best products on earth, and to leave the world better than we found it."
1. Define the ultimate state of the world and your contribution there
Imagine a world that you'd love to build and to live in. Why does it matter?
2. Pinpoint when you know you’ve made it
When you look 5 or 10 years ahead, can you measure that you are now closer to your vision? How can you measure it? Jot down everything that comes to mind.
